Thursday morning was sad after the news about the bomb’s attack to Odesa. The young people made sure that their loved ones were not hurt and left for Mombasa.
Madam Salma Noor, the Sister Cities Director in the previous Government of Mombasa, considered the mother of the partnership agreement between Odesa and Mombasa, with great joy and hospitality received at her home two delegations, a children’s and an official one. A great friend of Odesa treated the long-awaited guests with the traditional Swahili cuisine dishes. This day was also the birthday of Mr. Sam, a member of Madame Salma’s family, so guests even enjoyed a birthday cake.
The Deputy Mayor of Odesa, Mr. Pavlo Vugelman, thanked Madam Salma for her huge contribution to strengthening the partnership between the two cities, her hospitality and great kindness, and wished the children the best experiences from their trip to Kenya.
Of course, they took a group photo for long memory and then went to Mombasa continental Resort for relaxing on the coast of the Indian Ocean after a tiring trip.
